Cahawba Christian Academy celebrated Grandparent’s Day on Thursday, September 14th. Grandparents were joined by their grandchildren and enjoyed a lunch of baked pasta, green beans, rolls, and dessert. Over 70 grandparents and great-grandparents attended the luncheon, and the lunchroom was filled with smiling faces and overjoyed children. A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Samantha Colburn, the cafeteria manager, for cooking and serving a delicious meal with love and kindness to the Charger Grands!
Our gathering was well attended by former graduates who have blessed the school with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. “This was a great event for all concerned, God has truly blessed us all,” said the school principal, Dr. Steve Morgan.
