The 3rd Annual Arts on the Cahaba was better than ever!  On Saturday, April 20th from 10:00am-2:00pm, people gathered in the middle of downtown Centreville’s Court Square to take part this 3rd annual fun event. Live Music by some of our locals was set up on the courthouse steps, awesome singing by the way! Vendors were there to offer good food as artists brought in their items to view. Mimi’s Fancy Faces painted away as children of all ages lined up to have their faces decorated with cute designs.  A Truck Track – Brought to you by Quality Operators was set up for remote control mountain climbing. We stopped by the Veterans Farming Initiative of Alabama’s Pet A Pig station and watched as he asked the trained pigs to sit for a treat. Bubble station, sand art, sidewalk chalk, bouncy house was just a few on the fun things for kiddos to do this Saturday on The Square!  Cupcake  contest. Brings a winner, congratulations to the winner, Whitlee Lawrence. To end the day our Mayor kisses a pig for a good cause!
