On Wednesday afternoon, April 17th, our community gathered in unity to honor the resilience of every child who found themselves part of an investigation last year. On the yard of the Bibb County Courthouse, hearts joined hands for the ceremonial planting of the annual Child Abuse Prevention Month Pinwheel Garden.

This deeply touching event underlined the crucial role of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), serving as a beacon of support for abused children across Bibb, Dallas, Hale, Perry, and Wilcox counties. The CAC not only conducts vital forensic interviews but also provides essential training on Mandatory Reporter responsibilities and the enlightening Darkness to Light curriculum.

Gratitude overflowed towards the dedicated individuals who tirelessly care for the cause of these vulnerable children during their most trying moments. Each pinwheel gently placed into the earth represented a beacon of hope and a promise of healing for the innocent souls affected by the scourge of child abuse.

Each pinwheel planted is a powerful symbol of hope and healing for the innocent souls affected by child abuse. Let the colorful whirl of pinwheels remind us that together, we can make a difference for those who need it most.
