Senator Weaver’s enthusiasm was evident as she presented a grant to support these educational field trips, undoubtedly making a significant impact on the future opportunities for BCHS students.

Senator Weaver’s dedication to education extended to Woodstock Elementary School, where she was delighted to witness an innovative initiative in action. Senator Weaver recognized the immense value of promoting literacy in such a creative way and promptly presented a check to help maintain a steady supply of books for the machine. Her support undoubtedly contributes to fostering a culture of reading and learning among the students in a way that makes it fun.

Further evidence of Senator Weaver’s commitment to her constituents was her visit with Connie Johnson, who heads the Bibb County High School Color Guard. By reaching out to Senator Weaver’s office, Ms. Johnson highlighted the program’s needs, and it became Senator Weaver’s privilege to offer her support. This gesture affirmed her dedication to not only education but also the broader spectrum of community engagement and athletics.
