Republican Primary is March 3

1432

Veteran pilot Walter Williams admits that it has been a few years since he flew fighter jets for the U.S. Military and the flight suit photo in front of his F-105 was taken a few years ago. After 92 combat missions in Southeast Asia and 28 years of military service Williams is still flying but these days he flies fire patrol as a contractor for the Alabama Forestry Commission. On active fires he co-ordinates ground resources with the forestry commission and often with the Bibb County Volunteer Fire Departments.

Major Walter C. Williams, USAF (Retired)

Williams is seeking a seat on the Bibb County Commission, representing the voters in District 3.

Williams regularly attends County Commission Meetings as a private citizen. He served as Chairman of the Bibb County Airport Authority for 10 years and has served on the Alabama Department of Aeronautics Board.

Williams and his wife Karen are residents of Centreville.

The statewide Republican Primary is March 3, 2020.
