Bibb County native C.W. West is seeking the Republican nomination for Bibb County Corner in the March 3rd GOP Primary. Mr. West provided the following personal information to The Bibb Voice about himself and his candidacy for the position:
“I have lived in Bibb County all of my life. I can’t see myself living anywhere else. My wife, Kelly and I met at church in January of 2005. In May of 2006 we got married and started our lives together. We have three amazing kids, Jada age 8, Gracie age 3 and 1 year old Silas. We bought a home in West Blocton and have been living there for the last seven years.
I graduated from Jefferson State Community College with an Associates Degree in Funeral Service Education. Working in the funeral industry has given me the experience and qualifications that I need to be your next Coroner. I have 6+ years of experience in death removals and dealing with grieving families gained while working for Rocko’s Funeral Home in Centreville, my present employer. It is my desire and compassion to make sure that the needs and wishes of families in their time of need are met to the fullest extent possible.
As your next Coroner, I hope people will always find me approachable and comfortable to talk with even months after a death with any questions or concerns. Please consider giving me your vote on March 3 in the Republican primary.
