The Bibb County Education Retiree’s Association held their March meeting at the Brent/ Centreville Library. Some of the cast from the Bibb County Children’s Theatre recent production of Moana Jr. provided entertainment. Mr. Kevin Cotner, Superintendent of Bibb County Board of Education presented a very informative overview of recent updates in the school system. Club members also presented checks to the Brent/Centreville Library and the West Blocton Library in memory of club members Ruth Watts and Dot Cottingham Calderwood. Attending the meeting were Kevin Cotner, Superintendent of Bibb County Schools, Suzanne Jones, Faye Johnson, JoAnn Medders, Fran Kornegay, Donna Cook, Kay Lightsey, Sarah Lunsford, Janis Conway, Vickie Brown. Bibb County Children’s Theatre cast members Caroline Jones, Marlowe Davis, Kelley Davis- Director of Bibb County Children’s Theatre, Catherine Hammond, Saylor Geohagan and Van Pinkard.
