The Town of Woodstock is proud to announce the highly anticipated eighth annual Woodstock Music Festival, set to take place on Saturday, May 17th, at Holiday Raceway. This beloved community event will once again bring music lovers together for a day filled with live performances, delicious food, and an incredible atmosphere. Gates will open at 3:00 PM, with the show kicking off at 4:00 PM.

Headlining this year’s festival is none other than country music superstar Tracy Lawrence. With a career spanning over three decades, Lawrence is celebrated for his classic hits, including “Alibis,” “Time Marches On,” and “Paint Me a Birmingham.” His timeless sound and extensive catalog of music continue to captivate audiences across generations.

Joining Lawrence on stage will be The Southbound Revelers, a Tuscaloosa-based favorite, along with Mobile’s multi-talented Marieo Parrish. Internationally renowned guitarist and vocalist Rick Harris will also grace the stage, ensuring a diverse and dynamic musical lineup that offers something for everyone.

This year’s festival holds special significance, as all proceeds from the event will contribute to the construction of Woodstock’s first-ever municipal playground. The playground, to be located at the Arvell Kornegay Walking Track next to Town Hall, will provide a much-needed recreational space for local families and children to enjoy for years to come.

“We are incredibly excited to bring such a wonderful event to Woodstock for the eighth year in a row,” said Mayor Jeff Dodson. “This festival not only celebrates music, but it also brings us together as a community. We are proud to support the development of our first playground, which will serve as a safe, fun space for children and families for years to come. I want to thank everyone for their continued support and look forward to seeing you there.”

The Woodstock Music Festival will take place on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Holiday Raceway in Woodstock, AL. Gates will open at 3:00 PM, and the show will begin at 4:00 PM. Admission to the festival is free, though there will be a $20 parking fee per vehicle. All proceeds from the event will go toward building Woodstock’s first-ever municipal playground.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a love for great music. However, pets and coolers are not allowed. A variety of food vendors and Holiday Raceway Concessions will be on-site, offering delicious and affordable options for all attendees.
