Uptown Centreville’s historic Court Square transformed into a lively gathering place on Saturday, November 9th, for the beloved Colors on the Cahaba festival—a celebration treasured by both locals and visitors. Located at the heart of Centreville, the event drew a crowd eager to soak in seasonal charm, local artistry, and community spirit.

The square buzzed with a range of activities. Live music filled the air, while vendors showcased unique crafts, celebrating both local talent and traditional craftsmanship. Artisans offered items from jewelry to hand-painted scenes, filling booths that lined the square with creative treasures reflective of Centreville’s vibrant arts community.

Families found plenty to enjoy as well, from face-painting stations to food stalls that kept festivalgoers gathering and mingling. Local musicians provided a perfect soundtrack, uniting everyone in the joy of the day.

Once again, Colors on the Cahaba at Centreville Court Square highlighted the beauty of nature and the strength of a close-knit community. As the last notes drifted away and vendors packed up, the spirit of the day lingered, leaving a shared appreciation for the town, the river, and the vibrant colors of fall.
