Bibb County Special Need Adults Has New Program

Parents and their special needs adults gathered at Indian Rivers in Brent, AL, to celebrate the opening of a new program. Just a few months ago, The Lighthouse program had closed unexpectedly, leaving these special adults without a familiar place to connect and feel supported. But today, a new space has been created—a safe haven, a community, and a place to belong.
Becky Davis, mother of program member Ryan Davis, describes it as nothing short of a miracle. “It’s a big miracle because I was at the point where I didn’t think it was going to open again,” said Davis.
