  1. Bibb Extension Color Run

By Michelle Giddens

Bibb County Extension hosted a free color run on Saturday, November 4th around the Courthouse Square to encourage physical activity. Runners and walkers gathered at 7:30 am to run the half mile course. As participants ran by stations, volunteers shot powder at the runners, adding a kaleidoscope of color to their t-shirt. Bibb Extension also had a balloon arch and a large picture frame for photo ops! The Colors on the Cahaba Festival followed, giving folks a chance to start their Christmas shopping early! A huge thank you to our sponsors: Burkes Mechanical, KyKenKee Inc., RiverFall Credit Union, Bibb County Conservation District, Cahaba Industrial Machine, J & S Drugs, Thompson Gas, and Family Connections. We couldn’t have had the run without our volunteers and Ty Corbell for serving as emcee for the event. Thank YOU! Check out some of the fun!
