Two Bibb County Alabama juveniles were seriously injured in a residence on James Drive in Brent at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, June 6, 2023. One of the juveniles was wounded in the stomach and the other in the neck area. Both juveniles were transported for emergency medical treatment.
According to Brent Police Chief Terry Nichols the suspect in the shooting has been located and is presently incarcerated in Montgomery on other charges. The as yet unidentified suspect will be charged with Assault and Attempted Murder in this case. Chief Nichols said the injuries to the juveniles were serious but he believes they have been moved to a non life-threatening status as of this morning.
