The 7/8 year old Dixie Youth All Star team from Stewart-Wheeler ball park won the World Series played in Rushton LA a few weeks ago. They will be celebrated this Friday evening at the ball park beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the entire town is invited to come out and enjoy the event, take part in the festivities, enjoy fireworks and entertainment and recognize the accomplishments of a determined group of young athletes.
The party opens at 6:30 p.m. There will be a brief ceremony recognizing the efforts of the sponsors, contributors, coaches, and workers who helped to make this team effort successful, followed by fireworks at 7:45 p.m.
