Choctaws move to 9-5 on the season after splitting 4 games this week.

Tigers walk off in extras to down Choctaws
Chilton County – 5 Bibb – 4 (9 innings)
On Monday, the Choctaws traveled down to Clanton to take on the Tigers in what turned into a extra inning classic.
The Choctaws got on the board in the first inning when Landon Dial and Brooks Cooner hit back to back doubles to give Bibb a 1-0 lead.
Bibb added another run in the top of the 4th. Brodie Seales singled and was moved over to second when Eric Woodruff moved him with a sacrifice bunt. Seales would score later on a single by Drake Dial.
In 5th inning, Kaden Kornegay walked and later scored on a fielders choice by Cooner to put Bibb up 3-0.
The Tigers scored a run in the 5th and added two more in the 6th to tie the game at 3. Cade Horton came up to bat in the top of the 7th and hit a monstrous two out home run to give the Choctaws a 4-3 lead. But the Tigers would tie it up yet again when they scored the tying run on a two out error. The Tigers would win it in the bottom of the 9th on back to back hits.
Landon Dial led Bibb with 2 hits. Cooner led the way with 2 rbi’s.
Choctaws score 3 in the 7thfor the walk off win over Gordo
Bibb – 4 Gordo – 3
Brooks Cooner and R. Mullinex put on a left handed pitching clinic for 6 innings Friday night. Both pitchers gave up just one run leading up to an exciting 7th inning.
Bibb scored first in the bottom of the second. Drew Watts singled and was sacrificed to second by Seales. He scored later when Woodruff singled to right field.
Gordo scored an unearned run in the top of the third after a hit by pitch and an error gave the Green Wave a runner on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. Capps singled to drive in the tying run.
Gordo scored 2 runs into the top of the 7th to take a 3-1 lead as the game headed into the bottom of the 7th. As the Green Wave fans were smiling and packing up their chairs the Choctaws began to make some noise. Kornegay walked and Landon Dial followed with a single. Cooner then walked to load the bases. Horton then singled to drive in Kornegay to set up the dramatics. Watts then hit a hard grounder to short, the shortstop threw home to try and cut down the tying run but threw the ball away allowing Dial and Cooner to score for the walk off 4-3 victory.
Kyle Langford got the win in relief for Bibb. Landon Dial led the way with 3 hits. Kornegay and Seales each had two hits.
Fayette County nips Bibb 2-1 on just two hits.
On Saturday, the Tigers of Fayette County scored two runs in the second inning on two singles and a hit by pitch, These hits were the only hits the Choctaws would allow.
Bibb scored their lone run in the top of the 3rd when Kornegay reached second following an error by the third baseman. Cooner drove him in with a single.
Woodruff led the way with two hits for the Choctaws.
Horton homers, freshmen Cash and Williams blank South Lamar 7-0
The Choctaws got off to a quick start when Kornegay walked in the bottom of the first and scored when Horton hit a home run for a 2-0 lead.
In the bottom of the 2nd, Drake Dial lead off the inning with a double. Cam Webb, who was running for Dial would later score on a fielders choice by Kornegay.
Bibb added another run in the bottom of the 4th when Drake Dial, Cole McCarty, and Kornegay singled to load the bases. Webb scored on a fielders choice by Landon Dial.
Bibb added 3 more runs in the 7th on 2 walks, and 2 hit by pitches. Horton drove in another run with a fielders choice. Watts followed with a double to give the Choctaws the 7-0 lead.
Steven Cash was the winning pitcher striking out 7 through 5 innings. Dillon Williams pitched the final two innings striking out 2 to finish the shutout for the Choctaws.
