Meet Holly Hall, Bibb County’s New 4-H Youth Development Coordinator

Bibb County Extension Coordinator, Michelle Giddens has announced that Holly Hall is the new 4-H Youth Development Coordinator for Bibb County. “I am thrilled to have Holly join our team in Bibb County. She has some great ideas on programs for Bibb County and is excited to become a part of the community.”

Holly is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Horticulture. Prior to coming to Bibb, Holly was the 4-H agent assistant in Shelby county and was working on developing a co-county Livestock Club with Bibb, this effort will continue. Holly has been a member of the Cattlemen’s Association for several years and currently serves as the treasurer for the Shelby County Cattlemen’s Association. Throughout high school in Wilsonville, Holly was involved in 4-H Livestock Show and Auctions. In addition to starting a Livestock Club, plans are underway to continue with the Forestry Club, RiverKids, and ChickChain. Holly will also be working in the schools on different programs, such as Anti-Bullying, and Health Rocks. “I am so excited to begin this journey in Bibb County. I’m looking forward to meeting 4-H members and ready to explore Bibb County!”

On Tuesday, February 11th, from 5-7pm at the Bibb Wellness Center, Extension is hosting “Get to Know Holly,” an informal meet and greet. Families and community members are invited to stop by and meet Holly. Information on upcoming 4-H events will be available as well as refreshments. Giddens said, “We thought this would be a great way for everyone to get a chance to meet Holly and sign up for clubs and summer camp. We hope folks can stop by and say hello!”
