Wallace Leon Owens 75, of Eoline Alabama, died Wednesday, 01 January 2025, at Hospice of West Alabama. Wallace loved his family and friends, fishing, working outdoors, telling stories, and all animals.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Owens, his parents Buddy and Louise Owens, his brother, Edward Owens, and Grandson, Todd Jeremy Jaynes.
He is survived by his two children, Shane Owens, and Toni Young (Steve); two sisters, Sara White (late Kenneth), and Mary Alice Smith (James); 4 Stepchildren (loved as his own children), Troy Neal Jaynes (Denise), Harold Dean Jaynes, Wanda Riley (late Jerry), and Anita Ruffin (Mike). He has 14 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to thank the many health care workers who assisted in his treatment. We would also like to recognize all current and former employees of Hall Taylor Construction Company, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Especially, Roger Taylor, the late Curtis Hall, Zack Taylor, and Hunter Taylor.
