With 26 locations and over 36,000 patients served in Bibb, Jefferson, Chilton, Perry, Wilcox, and Shelby counties, their core belief is that everyone deserves access to high-quality care encompassing medical and dental services, mental health support, pharmacy services, and more.
In 2012, Cahaba Medical Care took a significant step forward in addressing the crucial need for behavioral and mental health services by establishing its social work & behavioral health department. Since then, they have continuously strived to integrate behavioral and mental health into their multidisciplinary patient care services. This approach has allowed them to identify patients in need of behavioral or mental health interventions and provide innovative treatments to those who may have otherwise gone unnoticed. Furthermore, Cahaba Medical Care ensures that all patients are universally screened for substance use disorders, depression, and at-risk behaviors, offering integrated behavioral care whenever indicated.
Dr. Boone G. Rountree, the latest addition to the Cahaba Medical Care team, will primarily practice at the Woodstock location.
