Latrivia Lashae Crews made an appearance before Bibb County District Judge Craig Cargile where her pending criminal case was set for a Preliminary Hearing and revocation of her bond from an earlier offense. Crews was involved in an arrest incident on August 17 that resulted in an altercation with police officers on the scene from Centreville and Brent police departments.

As a result of the most recent incident Crews has new charges consisting of two counts of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief, Hindering Prosecution, Obstruction of Justice and Assault in the Second Degree. With another unadjudicated case already pending in the Bibb County system, Crews was also facing revocation of her bond in the earlier case.

After a closed meeting with her lawyers and prosecutors the Court entered an order reinstating her previous bond and adding a bond condition that she begin anger management classes or treatment. She was ordered to be released on the prior case.

In the new case a bond amount of $22,000. had already been set by Judge Cargile on an initial appearance order dated August 18, 2023, reaffirmed today. Both criminal cases against Crews are now set for review on November 29, 2023 and the bond revocation matter in the first case remains pending.

Crews can now be released from jail when she posts the $22,000.00 bond in the new case.
