Make plans now to join us at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in West Blocton to learn how to properly prepare and process jams and jellies for the holidays. This is a great hands-on workshop for mother and daughter or bring a friend! Participants will receive a copy of our recipe booklet, “The Twelve Jars of Christmas” and you will make at least 2 jars of jelly to take home. Cost is $10. Thursday December 2nd; 3:30pm-5:30pm. You must pre-register by contacting the Bibb County Extension Office at 205-926-4310. This workshop will be conducted by Angela Treadaway, Regional Food Safety and Quality Agent.
