Bibb Medical Center announced that the next phase of development for The Commons at Cahaba Trace has begun. This phase will add six cottages to the retirement community at BMC. The first phase included eight cottages that were reserved quickly. With the addition of these six new cottages, Cahaba Trace will have approximately 120 retirees on campus. This development project is ongoing and will continue to add cottages in the next phases.

  1. I’m upset over the “dump” near Piggly Wiggly in Brent. How can I help get this cleaned up & why is it there?

    • It is a private business operating legally and licensed by the City. First place to start is to talk to your city government and ask them to work with the business to see if there is a remedy that will cure the problem.
