This past Tuesday with friends and family on hand to watch, Noah Hobson signed his letter of intent to play football with the Huntingdon College Hawks. Hobson started at center for the Choctaws the past two seasons after taking over at the position late in his sophomore season. At this years football banquet, Noah was awarded the Offensive Lineman of the Year Award and was also named a Team Captain. These awards were voted on by the players only which makes them mean more..

When asked what he had anything to say Noah responded with this, “First, I have to give all the glory to God. I’ve had a dream since I was a little kid to play college football and God has helped me push through so much. Second, I have to thank my family who stood by me through it all and was there to help me when I needed it the most. Third, I have to thank my teammates and coaches. They have truly become my second family and I love each and every one of them. This has been a dream come true and it is time to flip to a new chapter in my life, but I know I can always flip back and remember all the good times. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next.”

Noah is the son of Kevin and Bridgett Hobson. He has a younger brother named Hayden. His paternal grandparents are Tony and Flo Hobson. His maternal grandparents are Butch and Marilyn Bamberg.

Huntingdon College is a NCAA Division III school located in Montgomery, Al. with an enrollment just over 1,100 students. They are a member of the USA South Athletic Conference. While playing for the Hawks, Noah plans on majoring in Math and Engineering.

The Choctaw Nation wants to wish Noah the best and let him know that all of us are behind him and we are all extremely proud of him.
