On February 5th, with their friends, families, and teammates watching, Dexter Marsh and Noah Dukes signed their letter of intent to continue their football careers with Culver-Stockton University.

Noah Dukes is a 6’2  280 lb. defensive lineman from Brent. He is the son of Katrina Dukes. His grandmother Darlene Black and Aunt Tamara Peoples were with him as he signed to continue his football career.

On the season Noah had 34.5 tackles, one tackle for a loss, and also recovered a fumble.

When asked to say something, Noah had this to say, “ I just want to say it has been a great ride. I want to thank my teammates and coaches for a great four years. I will never forget it. And to the younger guys, just keep on grinding.”

Dexter Marsh is a 6’2  226 lb. defensive end from Brent. He is the son of Lawanda Marsh and Johneth Walker. He is the nephew of Gloria Smith and the cousin of Alonzo Smith.

On the season, Dexter had 74.5 tackles, one sack, two caused fumbles, and three tackles for a loss. Dexter was named to the Tuscaloosa News West Alabama All-Stars team for the season. When asked if he had anything to say, Dexter had this to say, “ I want to thank everyone who talked me into not quitting when I wanted to. Especially Isseriyon Murphy who refused to let me. I have had a great time and I love all of you. I will never forget this experience.”

Culver-Stockton is four year NAIA school located in Canton, Missouri. It is a liberal arts university with an enrollment just under 1,000 students.

Noah and Dexter both plan on majoring in business while playing for the Wildcats. The Choctaw Nation wants Dexter and Noah to know that we are extremely proud of them and will be behind them 110% as they continue their football careers. Best of luck to them and we can’t wait to watch you contribute to the Wildcats on the field next season.
