Bibb County Voters chose Craig Cargile as their next District Judge in the Republican Primary this past June. His election becomes official after votes are counted and certified for the November 6 General Election vote which Cargile won without opposition from a Democratic opponent. Cargile is now scheduled to be sworn in and take office in January as Bibb County’s District Judge.

Cargile was raised in the Woodstock area of Bibb County where his family is anchored. His father is an educator and his mother is a member of the health profession. He lives in Centreville with his wife and children where he has practiced law since graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2004.

During his legal career he has been active in many local professional, civic, and youth organizations and is well known in the Bibb County community. He is an active musician and serves as  Minister of Music for a local church.
