Most everyone who calls Bibb County home knows that our medical service community is growing, that it is expanding, and that it also sets an example of how to provide quality health care through out all the different stages of our life.
Many may not know that our community is the home of a family Doctor who has spent his entire professional career serving the needs of the people of the Bibb County area. But did you also know that this local Doctor also heads up the nation’s largest organization of Family Physicians.
Dr. John Meigs, Jr. is the president of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He leads the organization’s efforts to encourage Washington Legislators to listen to the voice of those Physicians who are “out in the trenches” providing medical care to America Families all over the United States.
