A flag raising and dedication ceremony was held today at the Bibb County Chamber of Commerce in Centreville, Alabama. WoodmenLife donated a 30 ft aluminum flagpole and Clanton Chapter 322 presented new flags to Chamber President Jerry Levert. Ashley Pruitt, a representative from WoodmenLife, presented the flags and the ceremony at today’s event and also presented each of the Volunteer Fire Departments in Bibb County with Honor Flags in memory of each of those first responders and heroes who lost their lives in the tragedy of the 9/11 attack on U.S. soil at the World Trade Center. The ceremony was well attended by Chamber members, guests, and local citizens. WoodmenLife, a non-profit organization, gives back to hundreds of small communities, police departments and fire departments each year with flags and other types of patriotic support.
