East Alabama Health publicly announced yesterday that Joseph Marchant has joined East Alabama Health as executive vice president and chief integration and network development officer.
“Joseph is a proven leader whose years of extensive experience in rural health care will further enhance our ability to serve our patients in east Alabama,” said Laura Grill, president and CEO of East Alabama Health. “His leadership will support our continued focus on coordinated care and long‑term sustainability for the communities we serve.”
In this new role, Marchant will strengthen East Alabama Health’s regional impact by overseeing clinical network development, identifying and leading outreach and growth initiatives. His work in this role will ensure seamless integration of services, operations and care delivery across the organization.
Marchant leaves Bibb Medical Center of Centreville, AL where he has led the health organization as CEO for more than 15 years.
