Patricia Thelma Perkins Nicholson – March 20, 2026
Patricia Thelma Perkins Nicholson, age 83, left this world on March 20, 2026 for her new home in heaven. She was born on November 18, 1942 to Judson Dunaway Perkins and Thelma Rae Willis Perkins in Bibb County, Alabama.
She loved life, new adventures and time spent with family and friends, her church and old gospel singings, word puzzles, game shows, and reading. She was a lifelong Alabama football fan and loved the Atlanta Braves.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Judson & Thelma Perkins, her Son, Stuart Bradford, Brother Joseph Perkins, sisters Juanita Payne and Ann Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband Lester Neil Nicholson, her children Cynthia Nazari (Majid), Anthony Pierce (Rhonda), Gregory Bradford & Derrick Price, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and many more who lovingly called her Granny Pat or Aunt Pat, Brother Roy Frank Perkins (Joyce), sisters Peggy Lou Reynolds and Barbra Sue Dial (Donnie).
Join us for a Celebration of Life on April 18, 2026 at New Life Baptist Church, Centreville, AL 35042 with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service starting at 2:00 p.m.
