This Message is forwarded on the behalf of ALDOT in regards to interests in Jefferson County that will be impacted by the closure of US Highway 280 during the weekend of November 14th-17th.
As part of the ongoing US 280 widening project, ALDOT will be shutting down traffic at the Pumphouse road bridge during the weekend of November 14th-17th to begin setting up girders for the new bridge.
**Major note to emergency service personnel, the contractor believes that they should have room to allow for emergency vehicles to pass through for emergency calls only**
The timeline is as follows
Eastbound lanes will be closed all weekend from Friday, Nov, 14 at 11pm through 6am Monday Nov 17th.
Westbound lanes will be closed 11pm to 5am Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nights. These lanes will be open from 5am-11pm during the day on Saturday and Sunday.
