OBITUARY
Donald Ray Perry, a resident of Centreville, Alabama, passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on November 16, 1943, Donald was known for being brave, compassionate and hard-working throughout his life.
From an early age, Donald was a lifelong carpenter, beginning his craft at the age of 13. He graduated from Bibb County Hugh School and was part of a family that included ten children, with only three siblings still living at the time of his passing.
Donald served his country for two years in the U.S Army, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to service.
He was married to his beloved wife Inos Perry, shortly after being discharged from the Army, for 54 years and had one son, Justin Martin Perry. A testament to their enduring love and partnership.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Perry and Lillian Little Perry; sisters Marlene Perry Horton (Melvin) and Ora Jean Perry Jones (Ted); brothers Gerald Perry, Ivan Perry (Etta Scurlock), Bobby Perry (Cheryl) and Ronald Perry.
He is survived by his wife, Inos Abston Perry; son, Justin Martin Perry; siblings, Loiel Perry (Wanda Faye Knox Kendrick), Randle Perry (Brenda) and Vickey Perry Ingram (Harry); sisters in-law, Carlene Pool Perry and Nettie Smith Terry; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Donald Ray Perry will be remembered for his compassion, bravery and hard work, leaving a lasting legacy for all who knew him.
Pallbearers to honor Donald will be Paul Smith, John Pratt, David Pratt, Gary Holder, Jimmy Ray Colburn and Brandon Perry.
Honorary pallbearers are DCH staff, ACG Hospice staff, Bibb Medical Nursing Home staff and The Regulators Military MC West Alabama Chapter.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11 am at Pineland Memorial Park in Centreville, AL. Services will be officiated by Thomas Hill, a dear friend of the Perry family.
