Thank you for your continued support of the Centreville Press and for supporting our work in the Bibb County community with your paid subscription.
As weekly newspapers across our state have discontinued their print publications we are continuing to struggle with the economic headwinds of these challenging times. In order to continue with producing our weekly news we have no option other than to find ways to operate in a more economically feasible manner. This means that the era of producing a printed full weekly edition is coming to an end for us.
We will be pausing production of the full weekly edition printed newspaper after our August 29 edition. We plan to continue to produce the same community newspaper in digital format only. Our weekly mailing to subscribers will include only abbreviated content and legal notices. The remainder of our weekly content will be available only on our digital platform.
Our weekly full edition newspaper will be available on your digital devices at www.bibbvoice.com along with other breaking or happening news that we can publish immediately on our digital platform. You will be able to view the same newspaper you are accustomed to in electronic format and you can access the product on your phone, desktop computer or other digital devices.
Soon we will have a downloadable App for the the Bibb Voice platform and subscribers will be able to enable push notifications. When we publish breaking news you will receive a digital notification. We will have bonus content that is only available to subscribers. Your current print subscription will allow you to immediately access the digital platform without any additional expense to you.
One of the benefits to you will be immediate access to the weekly newspaper via the digital version, with no delay from the mailing of newspapers to your home or business. You will also receive the benefit of full color images that a printed product cannot match.
