To the Voters of Brent
I am Rick Edmonds, running for Mayor of Brent, Alabama. I would like to take a moment and share my thoughts to make Brent a safer and better Town.
First, I am 58 years old. I have lived in Brent for over 30 years. I graduated from Bibb County High School in 1985. I attended the University of Alabama and graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1989. I worked for Alfa Insurance for 12 years. I was the top salesman in the company for 1995 & 1999. I am a past President of Brent Civitan Club and an umpire for little league games.
Second, my goal is to bring three new businesses to Brent during my first year in office. I will go to meet any business owners to get more jobs for our town.
Also, due to the alleged criminal activity I want to invest and improve Brent Fire Department, Police Department and First Responders. They are real heroes. They are on call 24×7 and they protect and save lives. Brent needs and will have another storm shelter built in the middle of town.
Third, I want to improve and revamp Heritage Park. We need splash pads, a handicap accessible playground, something useful for all of our children. This project will be a top priority of my administration.
Lastly, we need speed bumps in several neighborhoods in Brent, for safety reasons. It is important to me to protect our neighborhoods and children who are playing outdoors.
On August 26 please vote for the candidate of your choice. The voting location is Brent City Hall.
And remember to “Pick Rick” for Mayor of Brent.
