Bibb County Sheriff Announces New Arrests In Human Trafficking & Sexual Abuse of Children Case

Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade today announced arrests of three additional adults in one of the most bizarre and gut wrenching cases of child victimization, sexual abuse, and other unspeakable heinous offenses that will shock the conscience of any human adult. Some of the adults now charged in these crimes are parents and relatives of the child victims. This ongoing criminal activity may reach back in time for more than 3 years before being discovered in early 2025.
Sheriff Wade spoke for ½ hour with horrid and shocking details of the crimes committed against at least 10 minor children, ranging in ages from 3 to 15 years of age, both male and female. Seven adults have now been arrested and jailed. The investigation is still ongoing and the Sheriff expects that more arrests and child victim identifications are forthcoming.
The child victims are in the custody of Bibb County Department of Human Resources and have been removed to safety. The adults charged in this case are being held without bond in the Bibb County jail at this time.
