Christina Collette (Griffin) Roberts, born on April 6, 1965, in Japan, passed away peacefully at her residence in Brent, Alabama, on July 11, 2025.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Curtis Delano Griffin and Julia Faye (Wakefield) Griffin of Shelby County, Alabama
.
Christina is survived by her loving children, daughter Kristian Griffin and son Wesley Hogue, as well as her cherished granddaughters, Aubrey Alexandria Blankenship and Madelyn Rylee Brown.
She is also survived by her devoted siblings: sisters Kimberly Kaye Kelley (Barry) of Prospect, Tennessee, and Faye Danette Griffin-Turner (Tim) of Tallahassee, Florida; brothers Curtis Wayne Griffin and Robert Stewart Jerome Griffin (Tamatha) of Columbiana, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Jerome “R.J.” Hogue, in 2010, and her brother, Franklin Owen Griffin, in 2022.
Christina had a gentle spirit and a deep love for animals, which brought her great joy throughout her life.
In accordance with her wishes, Christina will be cremated, and her final resting place will be at Schultz Creek Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved son, R.J.
Christina’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her kindness and love.
