Multiple County, State, and Federal agency officers descended upon a crime scene in North Bibb County, near Wilton, yesterday to unearth the gruesome remains of a murder victim and a vehicle, believed to be the victim’s. While the murder is believed to have occurred in an adjoining county the remains were buried just inside Bibb County on private property.
More details are expected when the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation announces or holds a press conference. SBI officials have not responded to our telephone request for more detailed information at this time. We will update this report as information is released.
