Bibb County’s August 26, 2025 local elections are fast approaching. Several newcomers to the political process have filed qualifying petitions with local municipalities. The Centreville Press is bringing our readers a first-hand look at the individuals campaigning to serve our community. Our mission—in a series of feature articles—is to go beyond the ballot and help voters connect with the candidates on a more personal level.

Local elections shape the policies and services that impact your everyday life—from school funding to public safety, infrastructure priorities, and more. Getting to know the people running for office empowers citizens to make thoughtful, informed decisions about who will represent their interests in Bibb County.

This is how we will be covering this preview:

  • Featured Profiles: Each article will include a brief personal bio, key campaign priorities, community involvement highlights, and what motivated each candidate to run.
  • Photo & Contact Info: A professional headshot, social media handles, and key campaign contact details.
  • Q&A Section: Candidates are invited to share a fun fact, their vision for our county, and one important issue they want voters to know about.

At the Centreville Press, we want to make sure every candidate has their chance to stand out. If you qualified to run for any position in the August 2025 Bibb County municipal elections, we’d love to feature you! We’ll gather your materials and reach out with a guided Q&A and next steps.

Bibb County Citizens will get a deeper understanding and learn not just where candidates stand, but why—what inspired them, what they value, and how they plan to serve. Side-by-Side Comparison: Our format ensures you easily compare qualifications and priorities and Stronger Engagement: Knowing candidates personally can boost civic participation—voting, attending events, or volunteering. Your voice matters.

Features will begin running weekly from mid‑July through early August, leading up to the August 26 election date. Check each week in the Centreville Press and on our website for new candidate features. Your voice matters.
