CENTREVILLE, AL — Brent & Centreville Volunteer Fire Departments announced that the AmeriGas facility located on Belcher Street near Bibb Medical Center in Centreville will be conducting a prescribed burn on Tuesday, June 10, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and may continue for a few days during the day light hours. The team overseeing the burn is trained and equipped to ensure that it is carried out safely and effectively. Please be advised that residents and commuters in the area may notice smoke in the vicinity during the morning hours. However, officials have stated that the fire will be fully contained within the designated burn area and pose no threat to nearby structures or the public.
