Hunter Education Course to be Held at BMC Wellness Center

There will be a Hunters Education Course hosted at the BMC Wellness Center on May 17, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for ages 10 years and older with lunch provided. In Alabama, hunter education courses are available to youth as young as 10 years old. While not mandatory until the age of 16 when purchasing a hunting license, these courses are recommended and are free to those 10 and older. The traditional course is a minimum of 8 hours, including both classroom instruction and a field day.
