Carolyn Fay Davis
July 5, 1945 – April 10, 2025
Carolyn F. Davis, age 79 of Brent, AL went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2025. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family,
Carolyn joins in Heaven: her parents, John E. and Nora Burrell; brothers, Raymond and Milton Burrell; and her loving husband of 18 years, Thomas Davis.
She will be lovingly remembered by: 3 sons, Todd Martin of Dora, AL, Dennis Odom (Heidi) of Centreville, AL, and Jason Odom (April) of Brent, AL; 2 stepdaughters, Kim Penney of Bessemer, AL and Kristie Nelson (Marty) of Bessemer, AL; brother, Howard Burrell of Graysville, AL; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews who were all very dear to her.
She was a longtime member of Four Points Baptist Church in Centreville and was always the first to step up and volunteer her help for anything that was needed. She enjoyed spending time with family and special friends, bird watching, and gardening -give her a “cutting” of anything and she would stick it in the dirt and make it grow! Most of all Carolyn loved her Lord and Savior. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Alabama National Cemetery 3133 Hwy 119 Montevallo, AL 35115 where Carolyn will join her husband Tommy in eternal rest. Please arrive at 12:45 pm to line up for the procession. Service will begin at 1:15 officiated by Brother Stan Huguley.
Following the funeral service please join us for a Celebration of Carolyn’s Life graciously hosted at Four Points Baptist Church 75 Maple Street Centreville, AL 35042 Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
