Open Door Singing to be Held May 25

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, the Raising a Standard Church invites the community to join together for a heartfelt Benefit Singing event, hosted at the Lillie Star District, located at 10600 Highway 5, Brent, AL 35034. The program will begin at 3:00 p.m., with Bruce Ruthledge serving as Master of Order and Devotion.
All are welcome to attend—soloists, duets, and singing groups are encouraged to participate, and pastors from all churches are warmly invited to come together in fellowship.
Singing holds a special place in the heart of Christian worship. It allows us to express our love and gratitude to God while strengthening our bonds as a community. Whether you’re lifting your voice in harmony or simply listening with an open heart, the act of singing can uplift the spirit, bring peace, and deepen faith. As Scripture reminds us:
“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation!” – Psalm 95:1
