Ridgeville Nazarene Women’s Ministry Attends Spirit-Filled Retreat in Orange Beach
By Sheila Duncan
The women of Ridgeville Nazarene Church’s Women’s Ministry recently gathered for a weekend of faith, fellowship, and renewal along the scenic shores of the Gulf. The retreat offered a peaceful escape, allowing attendees to deepen their spiritual journey, strengthen friendships, and experience God’s presence in a breathtaking setting.
A highlight of the event was the inspiring guest speaker, Rozalind Williams, whose powerful messages encouraged women to walk boldly in faith, trust God’s plan, and embrace their divine purpose. With her heartfelt wisdom and engaging storytelling, Rozalind left a lasting impact, uplifting and motivating each woman to return home with renewed strength and passion.
Beyond the worship services and thought-provoking sessions, the retreat provided ample opportunities for relaxation and reflection. Whether watching the sunrise over the ocean, sharing personal testimonies, or praying together on the sandy shores, every moment was filled with God’s peace and joy.
One of the most cherished aspects of the retreat was the deep sense of sisterhood that blossomed among the attendees. Through laughter, heartfelt conversations, and shared experiences, bonds were strengthened, forming a support system that would extend far beyond the weekend. Many women expressed how the retreat not only brought them closer to God but also to one another, fostering a lasting sense of community.
As the women of Ridgeville Nazarene returned home, they carried with them hearts full of gratitude, renewed faith, and a reignited passion to serve. The retreat served as a beautiful reminder that in the midst of life’s busyness, taking time to reconnect with God and fellow believers is essential for spiritual growth and strength.
With excitement for what’s to come, the Women’s Ministry looks forward to future gatherings, trusting that the Lord has even greater things in store. Until then, they will continue walking in faith, love, and the powerful sisterhood that was strengthened by the waves of Orange Beach.
