Historic Ritz Theatre in Centreville Gets a New Roof

Exciting progress is underway in Uptown Centreville as the historic Ritz Theatre has received a much-needed new roof. Thanks to property owner and Centreville Main Street Board Chair, Jeff McGee, this restoration marks a significant step in preserving one of the city’s most cherished landmarks.
Built around 1920, the Ritz Theatre has long been an icon of Centreville’s Mixed-Use District, holding a special place in the memories of many local families. With the installation of the new roof, the life of the building is expected to extend by more than 30 years, ensuring its legacy continues for future generations.
Efforts to restore and preserve historic buildings like the Ritz Theatre are progressing each week, creating opportunities for both new and existing businesses to thrive in Uptown Centreville.
