Cahaba Riverkeeper Announces Environmental Leadership Program for 2025

Are you a rising high school senior passionate about environmental science? Cahaba Riverkeeper is excited to announce its Environmental Leadership Program for 2025, offering a unique opportunity for students to explore environmental science and make a positive impact on the Cahaba River watershed.
This 10-week program is designed to engage 14 students from around the watershed, meeting one day per week. Participants will enjoy:
- College visits and environmental field trips.
- Scholarship opportunities.
- Hands-on conservation projects on the Cahaba River.
- A career expo to close out the program.
Applications close on April 1, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Interested students are encouraged to apply early to secure their spot.
For additional information, students and parents can attend one of two Zoom info sessions:
- Session 1: Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
- Session 2: Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
