Brent Study Club held its monthly meeting November 21, 2024 at Brent Baptist Church. President Donna Elam called the meeting to order. A delicious meal was provided by hostesses Pam Cottingham, Karen Hubbard, Jody Hamby, Tracy Griffin, and Charlotte West. Our project this month was to provide diapers and wipes for Family Connection. New members Janice Blake and Vicki Mitchell were welcomed. We discussed the success of our 75th Birthday Celebration recently held at The Oaks, as well as a new tshirt design for the club. Possible future fundraising events and events in which we could participate were considered. Donna Elam did a fun demonstration on bow tying and gift wrapping. We had many laughs trying to make bows. Our Christmas meeting and party will be December 10, 2024 at Fran Kornegay’s home. The meeting was adjourned.
