The Centreville Study Club held their November 21 meeting at the UWA Cahaba Biodiversity Center in West Blocton. Brian Keener, Director (center), and Joan Rundles, Assistant Director (far right), presented a program highlighting the center’s history, purpose, and future plans. Brian shared fascinating facts about the area and the state of Alabama, providing members with valuable insights into the region’s remarkable natural resources along the Cahaba River. Attendees included Dover Currie, Vickie Brown, Pene Norville, Henri Johnson, Cynthia Winegard, Melanie Murphy, Emily Bowman, Janis Conway, Lynn Ellinghausen, and Valerie Cook, all of whom left feeling enriched by the presentation.
