In times of crisis, it’s often the smallest gestures of kindness that have the biggest impact. Ridgeville Church of the Nazarene, though modest in size, demonstrated this beautifully with their recent outreach effort. When Hurricane Helene left many in North Carolina displaced and struggling to meet basic needs, this humble congregation stepped up in a mighty way.

With hearts full of compassion and hands ready to serve, Pastor Sam Evans and the members of Ridgeville Church sent a truckload of essentials to their neighboring district in North Carolina.

This act of kindness shows that while Ridgeville may be a small church, its heart is enormous. It’s not just about the number of people in the pews, but about the spirit of love and service that radiates outward. Their unwavering commitment to being the hands and feet of Christ has touched lives far beyond their own doors.

As the truck made its way to the North Carolina district, it was more than just a delivery of goods. It was a message of hope, solidarity, and God’s love in action—reminding everyone involved that even in the darkest times, there are always people who care.

In moments like these, Ridgeville Church of the Nazarene proves that faith, compassion, and a shared mission can move mountains. Their outreach is a reminder to us all that no matter how small we might feel, we each have the power to make a meaningful difference.
