Leila Evelyn Hartley, 81, of Centreville, Alabama passed away May 24, 2024, in Centreville, AL.
She was born May 18, 1943, in Alabama, daughter of the late Harvey Lawley and the late Jessie Lawley.
She was a long time member of Pineview Baptist Church and the owner of G & H Building Supply & Home Improvement.
Surviving are her Son, Tommy (Rita) Hartley; Daughter, Crystal (Steven) McMeekin; Grandson, Wesley Wyres; Granddaughters, Claudia McMeekin, Rylee Townsend, Millie McMeekin; Great-Grandson, Corbin James; and many Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Harvey Franklin Lawley & Jessie Mae Lawley; Husband, Dwaine Earl Hartley; Sisters, Johnnie Faye Lawley Davis, Patricia Lawley Barton; Grandson, Brandon Townsend; Granddaughters, Jessica McMeekin and Haley Townsend.
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024 funeral services were held at Pineview Baptist Church with internment following at Pineland Cemetery. Serving as Bearers were G & H employees: Leonard Atchison, John Henry Conwell, Randy Foster, Roger Kinard, Will Lawrence, Rusty Owens, Cody Thompson, Perry Wilcut and Don Underwood. Pastor Mark Lovett officiated the services and Martin Funeral Home directed.
