Fourth Judicial Circuit Judge Collins Pettway sentenced 48 year old Eric Raynard Anderson after a guilty plea was entered in the shooting death of Rodrecus Darrell Moore (age 28). Court records reflect that the shooting occurred on New Years Day, 2020, on South Scottsville Road in the Town of Brent.
Originally charged with murder Anderson pled guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter and received a sentence of 420 months, to be served, under the Habitual Offender Act. The court found that the defendant had been convicted of three prior adult felony offenses.
