In every community, there are those that contribute to bettering the lives of those in the community as a whole, and then there are those who are true pillars, giving their all to make a difference – and for Bibb County, one of those people we are so lucky to have is Camille Gibson.
Serving as the COO of Bibb Medical Center, Gibson also supports our community by being the Bibb County Board of Education President. Unrelenting in pursuing her goal of doing all she can to uplift and advocate for both our educators and students, she has also recently been named Alabama Association of School Boards District 2 Director.
“Mrs. Gibson has been a huge asset to our schools while serving on the Board,” Superintendent Kevin Cotner shared with us. “I know she will do great with her new expanded role.”
Gibson isn’t stopping there, however – she will also be devoting her time and energy as a member of the Steering Committee of the new Neighborhood Bridges initiative, which aims to provide the community with an easy, accessible, and anonymous way to meet the needs of students and their families right here in our county.
Thank you, Mrs. Gibson, for your commitment to serving our schools and community! Your hard work and dedication go far from unnoticed.
