In a continued effort to bolster Alabama’s workforce with cutting-edge skills and industry-relevant training, Bibb Medical Center has joined forces with Shelton State Community College to offer the Alabama Career Essentials (ACE) program. ACE stands as a beacon of opportunity, providing free training to equip Alabamians with essential employability skills, ensuring they are primed for success in the ever-evolving job market.

The ACE program, meticulously designed by the Alabama Community College System, serves as a comprehensive training course. Its primary goal is to furnish participants with pertinent skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive job landscape. This program is a vital step towards enhancing the employability of individuals across the state.

Scheduled to run from December 4th to December 15th, the ACE training classes will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The location for this empowering initiative is the BMC Wellness Center, offering a convenient and conducive environment for learning and growth.

One of the most compelling aspects of the ACE program is its commitment to empowering participants through various avenues upon completion. Graduates of the program will receive two valuable short-term certifications: the Alabama Certified Employee Certificate and the National Career Readiness Certificate. These certifications serve as badges of proficiency, validating their readiness for the workforce.

Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to enroll in a free class of up to four credit hours, furthering their educational journey. This incentive not only expands their skill set but also paves the way for future academic endeavors.

Perhaps one of the most promising prospects offered upon ACE program completion is the opportunity for a job interview with Bibb Medical Center. This collaboration aims not just to train individuals but to facilitate meaningful employment opportunities within the community, fostering growth and prosperity.

To seize this invaluable opportunity and register for the ACE program, interested individuals can reach out to Emily Wyatt at Shelton State Community College via email at ewyatt@sheltonstate.edu or by phone at 205-391-2948.

The ACE program represents continued collaborative effort between Bibb Medical Center and Shelton State Community College to empower individuals with the skills and certifications necessary to thrive in today’s job market. Through this initiative, participants can embark on a journey towards a brighter, more prosperous future, armed with knowledge, certifications, and potential job opportunities within their grasp.
