Bearden Christmas Lights
Thanksgiving Night, November 23rd
Prepare to be amazed as the Bearden Christmas Lights sparkle to life on Thanksgiving night, setting the holiday spirit aglow in the hearts of spectators.
Relay for Life of Bibb County Christmas Tree Lighting at Tabernacle Farm
December 1st, 5-7pm
Gather together for a Christmas Tree Lighting to commemorate our loved ones who have fought cancer. Ornaments for $5 each can be hung on the tree in honor of, or in memory of, those who have battled cancer. Kids will have plenty chance to join in on the festivities with a chance to give their letters to Santa, make reindeer food, and more! (Please submit names and money for ornaments to Cynthia Winegard or Ryan Thompson.)
West Blocton Christmas Market Presented by West Blocton First Baptist Church
Main Street, December 2nd, 10am-3pm
Mark your calendars for a merry day at the West Blocton Christmas Market! Featuring over 40 vendors, delectable food trucks, live Christmas melodies, enticing raffle prizes, and a FREE Kids Area with crafts and face painting, this event promises festive fun for everyone.
Brent/Centreville Christmas Parade
December 8th, 6pm
The streets of Brent and Centreville will come alive with twinkling lights and holiday cheer during the much-anticipated Christmas Parade on December 8th at 6pm. Join the community for an evening of fun! The parade will begin at Heritage Park in Brent and come straight up to the Centreville Town Square. Food trucks will be present in both Brent and Centreville.
Cookies with Santa
December 9, 3-7pm at Brierfield Ironworks Historical State Park
Free admission, free cookie, free cocoa, and lots of free fun for the whole family! Bring an ornament to help decorate the tree and stick around for the Christmas Tree Lighting at 5:30pm. Bring your own camera and take a picture with Santa!
West Blocton Christmas Parade
December 9th, 5pm
On December 9th at 5pm, West Blocton will host its own spectacular Christmas Parade, spreading joy and merriment throughout the town like they do every year! The parade will go up Main Street.
Tinsel Trail at the Coke Ovens
December 9th – January 1st West Blocton Coke Ovens Park
Experience the enchantment of the Tinsel Trail at the Coke Ovens from December 9th to January 1st. Stroll through a magical display of holiday lights at the West Blocton Coke Ovens Park.
Light the Night Polar Express Event Presented by the Town of Woodstock
December 2nd, 5-8pm
All aboard the Polar Express at the Light the Night event in Woodstock! Delight in great music, free photos with Santa, complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, train rides, and the enchanting lighting of the Town Christmas Tree from 5pm to 8pm on December 2nd.
Christmas on the Cahaba
December 8th, 5-8pm
Food trucks will converge at Brent City Hall and the Courthouse Square during Christmas on the Cahaba on December 8th from 5pm to 8pm. The evening will feature the Brent-Centreville Christmas Parade at 6pm, followed by an opportunity for photos with Santa for one hour after the parade.
